what is the purpose of a dashboard car?

The dashboard of a car is one of its most important components, as it holds many important considerations related to the car's functionality. The purpose of a dashboard car can be divided into two main categories: informational and aesthetic.

A dashboard is an integral part of the car that contains several gauges and readouts which provide drivers with information pertaining to the vehicle's operations. It provides information about speed, fuel levels, engine temperature, coolant levels, oil pressure, as well as any warning lights that may be illuminated for certain conditions.

In addition to providing crucial information about the performance of the vehicle, a dash also serves an aesthetic purpose. Many modern vehicles feature a variety of knobs and switches on the dash that control things like the climate control, radio stations and even windows. This allows drivers to have complete control over their environment while in the car. Furthermore, many aftermarket modifications allow people to customize their cars with new colors or additions like touchscreen displays and digital readouts.

Another purpose of a dash is comfortability; drivers are able to adjust accessories like seat height or mirrors while seated in the driver's seat without having to exit their vehicle in order to make these changes. This is especially beneficial for individuals who may have limited mobility or difficulties getting into and out of their vehicles on their own accord.
